If you are looking for the best sleep of your life I can’t think of a better place in the entire world then in a Tahitian Bungalow overlooking miles of crystal clear water. Tahiti and French Polynesia are full of some of the world’s most luxurious and famous hotels and resorts in the world.
In the past while sailing through the South Pacific for a year and on other trips touring this tropical paradise I have had the opportunity to tour and stay at many of these world class resorts. Below I am going to list my favorite hand picked luxury resorts of Tahiti, Bora Bora and French Polynesia.

The Brando is a luxury private island resort started by the estate of the late Marlon Brando on the French Polynesian atoll of Tetiaroa. The Brando Resort is world famous for some of its celebrity visitors ranging from past Presidents like Obama to past boy band stars (ahem, One Direction). But more impressive then its long list of celebrity visits the island is famous for being almost entirely eco-friendly and for pursuing environmental responsibility.

2. The Four Seasons Bora Bora
The Four Seasons Resort in Bora Bora is perhaps best known for its over water bungalows on the expansive blue lagoon of Bora Bora. For anyone who has seen these bungalows it is no surprise that they are famous on Instagram and Facebook. In addition to these bungalows in paradise The Four Seasons in Bora Bora has a lot more to offer including wonderful dining at its restaurant and outdoor activities. Guests at the Four Seasons Bora Bora are often found paddle boarding, relaxing on the beach, enjoying the spa and taking in the incredible Tahitian sunsets.
